Happy Post-National-Homoeroticism-Day!!!
W00T! One randy group of men beat another randy group of men! They felt eachothers' asses, hugged, kissed, showered together, and provided millions of erections to millions of middle-aged me who might otherwise have to spend a few bucks on little blue pills! There was fancy half-time entertainment, and fun commercials, and millions of folks ate tons upon tons of shit in celebration of National Homoeroticism Day! What a wonderful, beautiful world we live in where such joy can come from the tender man-on-man festivities! Alas, I didn't participate in the celebrations. I was doing some chores around the house, then I watched Mythbusters and took a nap. Maybe next year! I just finished reading another Dean Koontz book, Whispers. It was pretty good, though the end was kind of a fizzle... it was like 500 pages of intense drama building up to a pretty wimpy few-page ending. Oh well. For the last few nights I've been catching up on some magazines. The latest Smithsonian is a pretty good one. I might read a Camile Paglia book next; Sex, Art, and American Culture. After that I may need to take a trip to the used book store to get some new stuff.

WTF? OMFG NO, WE CANNOT HAVE THIS
This is some sort of blasphemous ad for a Victoria Secrets Football thing of some sort. But as we all know, the first rule of USA Homoeroticism is There shall be no female sensuality in the realm of Homoerotic Sunday! This is a shame, a terrible, terrible shame. Football does not go with female sensuality; instead it requires a man's firm hand caressing the tight buttocks of his teammate, or a close embrace and man-to-man mouth kiss to celebrate the togetherness, the commeraderie of the GridIron. This is just horrible, horrible. On a lighter note... I just finished reading Saucerfull Of Secrets - a book about Pink Floyd. It was good. Pink Floyd was the best. At least up through The Wall. Well, mostly. My favorite stuff is pre-DSOTM actually. Meddle is my favorite. Before that I read this book about the Gospel of Judas; about how it was found and the struggle to get it into the hands of people who could preserve, restore, and translate it. It was interesting, that's for sure. Now I'm reading a Dean Koontz paperback I stole from my parents on a recent visit. Now here we go, this is what I'm talking about

No, go away! You are not allowed to show your curves and female sensuality here. Only homoeroticism is allowed. Go, go away now, you foul She-Beast!!!!! You can try to disguise your lovely bossoms beneath a jersey like ours... you are almost boyish, but no, your golden locks and pretty make-up face betray you and reveal you for the hideous Woman that you are.
